Police Log: Malicious Telephone Calls, Hit-and-Runs and an Unwanted Guest

Here is a summary of incidents that Danville police responded to Jan. 15 to Jan. 21.

Sunday, Jan. 15

  • There was a vehicle accident with major injuries at 12:02 a.m. on the 200 block of Jewel Terrace.
  • Police responded to a report of vandalism on the 1000 block of Camino Ramon at 7:15 a.m.
  • There was a petty theft on the 300 block of Bolero Drive at 8:20 a.m.
  • Someone made malicious telephone calls to the 100 block of St. Teresa Court at 9:25 a.m.
  • A hit-and-run was reported on the 100 block of Summer Hill Court at 2:50 p.m.
  • Police responded to a party that was reported as a disturbance on the 1000 block of McCauley Road at 10:48 p.m.

Monday, Jan. 16

  • Someone harassed someone else on the 100 block of Franciscan Court at 4:41 p.m. Then, at 5:03 p.m., there was another report of harassment on the same block.
  • Someone reported malicious telephone calls on the 4000 block of Syklark Lane at 6:03 p.m.
  • Police responded to the disturbance of music on the 1100 block of Sunshine Court at 11:52 p.m.

Tuesday, Jan. 17

  • There was a burglary from an automobile on the 100 block of Marques Court at 9:37 a.m.
  • There was an unwanted guest on the 200 block of Linda Mesa Avenue reported at 9:54 a.m.
  • A juvenile was reported missing from the 1000 block of Diablo Road at 11:54 a.m.
  • Grand theft was reported from the 100 block of Princeton Court at 2:59 p.m.
  • There was a vehicle accident with property damage at 3:12 p.m. at West Prospect Avenue and Railroad Avenue.
  • Police then responded to another vehicle accident with property damage on the 100 block of Emerald drive at 4:11 a.m.
  • A hit-and-run was reported on the 10000 block of Crow Canyon Road at 7:08 p.m.

Wednesday, Jan. 18

  • Police responded to a hit-and-run on the 4100 block of Camino Tassajara at 8:38 a.m.
  • And yet another hit-and-run on this day at 12:32 p.m. on the 100 block of Railroad Avenue.
  • Someone was loitering at on the 500 block of Sycamore Valley Road at 7:35 p.m. that the police responded to.
  • Someone was pulled over for driving under the influence on the 600 block of Hartz Avenue at 8:31 p.m.
  • A promiscuous shooting was reported on the 400 block of Love Lane at 11:28 p.m.

Thursday, Jan. 19

  • Someone was driving recklessly on the 3100 block of Stone Valley road at 7:42 a.m.
  • Police responded to a hit-and-run on the 4100 block of Camino Tassajara at 9:59 a.m.
  • Someone committed a petty theft on the 1100 block of San Ramon Valley Boulevard at 5:34 p.m.
  • The burglary from a home was reported at 8:01 p.m. on the 600 block of St. George Road.

Friday, Jan. 20

  • The burglary of a commercial structure on the 2500 block of Camino Tassajara was reported at 8:11 a.m. 
  • Police responded to a report of a shoplifter at 12:52 p.m. on the 300 block of Railroad Avenue. The suspect was apprehended.
  • An adult was reported missing from the 300 block of Cordell Drive at 6:03 p.m.
  • A petty theft was reported at 7:31 p.m. from the 500 block of Hartz Avenue.
  • Someone was pulled over for driving under the influence at 9:47 p.m. at Alta Vista Way and Camino Tassajara.

Saturday, Jan. 21

  • Police responded to a vehicle accident that resulted in major injuries at 12:32 a.m. on the 500 block of Contada Court.
  • A fight was reported on the 4300 block of Hartz Avenue at 1:38 a.m.
  • There was a burglary from an automobile at 3:25 p.m. on the 600 block of El Capitan Drive.
  • Reckless driving was reported on West Prospect Avenue and Railroad Avenue at 3:42 p.m.
  • Police responded to a report of a disturbance that was a party at 9:56 p.m. on Lyon Court and Provence Road.
  • There was a promiscuous shooting at the 1100 block of Camino Tassajara at 10:01 p.m.
  • Someone was driving under the influence at 10:20 p.m. on the 100 block of Shelterwood Drive.
  • An unwanted guest showed up to the 100 block of East Prospect Avenue at 11:15 p.m.
  • Police pulled over another driver who was under the influence on the 600 block of San Ramon valley Boulevard at 11:19 p.m.
