Police log: A pickpocket and a burglar twice hits a downtown business

Here is a summary of notable incidents that Danville police responded to November 27 to December 3

Sunday, November 27

An arrest was made in a misdemeanor hit and run at 2 p.m. in the 600 block of San Ramon Valley Boulevard.

Police received a report at 5 p.m. of a petty theft in the 500 block of Silver Lake Drive.

Monday, November 28

Someone reported being a victim of battery at 8:08 a.m. at Diablo Road and Hartz Avenue.

Police got a call at 9:41 a.m. of an auto burglary in the 200 block of Roan Drive.

Employees at a business in the 100 block of Hartz Avenue notified police at 11:18 p.m. that a burglary had taken place. Two days later, on Wednesday at 11 a.m., employees at a business in that same block reported another commercial burglary.

Something suspicious happened just before 2 p.m. in the 3500 block of Camino Tassajara.

Tuesday, November 29

A vehicle accident that caused minor injuries occurred at 7:22 a.m. in the 1300 block of Lawrence Road.

A vandalism was reported at 12:57 p.m. in the 3100 block of Stone Valley Road.

Someone notified police about lost property in the 2600 block of Camino Tassajara at 7:21 p.m.

Wednesday November 30

Someone in the 100 block of Calvary Court called police at 4:30 p.m. to report a forgery.

Something suspicious happened at 8:40 p.m. in the 100 block of Sherbourne Hills Road.

Friday, December 2

A vandalism was reported at 8:29 a.m. in the 300 block of Railroad Avenue.

Someone in the 500 block of Railroad Avenue was taken to the hospital at 1:50 p.m. on a mental health concern.

A pickpocket struck in the 3100 block of Fostoria Way at 6:25 p.m.

Saturday, December 3

A home in the 500 block of Mikado Place was hit by burglars sometime before 1 p.m.

A battery was reported at 4:11 p.m. in the 100 block of Entrada Mesa.

Two arrests were made of people being drunk in public near Monte Vista High School in the 3100 block of Stone Valley Road 8:20 p.m. and 9:08 p.m.
