Police Log: Petty Thefts and More Petty Thefts

Here is a summary of notable incidents that Danville police responded to Dec. 11 to Dec. 18

Sunday, Dec. 11

  • A residential burglary, in the 9000 block of Falcon Street, was reported at 11:20 a.m.
  • Someone in the 400 block of San Ramon Valley Boulevard reported at auto burglary at 7:19 p.m.
  • A missing adult report came in at 9:07 p.m. from the 500 block of La Gonda Way.

Monday, Dec. 12

  • Police received two reports of vandalism at about 7:30 a.m. from the 300 block of Sunset Drive.
  • At 8:41 a.m., someone in the 500 block of Danville notified police of a vandalism.
  • Someone called at 11:51 a.m. to say that an auto burglary took place in the 100 block of Edinburgh Place.
  • A vandalism took place at 1:43 p.m. in the 100 block of Parkhaven Drive.
  • A vandalism on Sunset Court was reported at 3:18 p.m.
  • Police arrested someone at 10:18 p.m. in the 800 block of Brookside Drive in connection with allegations of reckless driving.

Tuesday, Dec. 13

  • A commercial burglary was reported at 9:12 a.m. in the 600 block of San Ramon Valley Boulevard.
  • A credit card fraud that took place in the 1200 bock of Valwood Drive was reported at 10:58 p.m.
  • Police documented a grand theft in the 100 block of Chardonnay Court at 2:45 p.m.
  • Just before 4 p.m. someone reported a residential burglary in the 100 block of Savona Court.

Wednesday, Dec. 14

  • An identity theft was reported at 8:03 a.m. in the 200 block of West El Pintado Road.
  • An identity theft was reported just before 3 p.m. in the 800 block of La Gonda Way.
  • Someone broke into a home in the 400 block of Old Orchard Court, according to a report at 3:30 p.m.

Friday, Dec. 16

  • Police at 12:49 p.m. investigated a situation in which someone was said to be in possession of drugs in the 600 block of El Capitan Drive.

Saturday, Dec. 17

  • Police received a report at 11:33 a.m. of a petty theft in the 500 block of Danville Boulevard.
  • Another petty theft report came it at 1:57 p.m., this time in the 100 block of Pera Court.
  • Some kind of disturbance took place at 3:16 p.m. in the 3400 block of Camino Tassajara.

My Junior at SRVHS is in the guinea pig class for the new curriculum. The new curriculum started with AP Biology this year and it has been a disappointment. Parents, including myself, really need to educate ourselves on this. I thought this was a State program not a Fed program. Great...
