Police log: New Year's fireworks, fights and another "unwanted guest"

Here is a summary of incidents that Danville police responded to Jan. 1 to Jan. 7

Sunday, Jan. 1

  • Just after midnight, police received reports of New Year's celebratory fireworks shooting off in the 100 block of Windsor Court and near El Capitan and Greenbrook drives.
  • Police at 5 a.m. responded to a report of a fight in the 800 block of Camino Ramon.
  • A petty theft occurred in the 100 block of Alamo Court at 12:18 p.m.
  • A vandalism occurred at 2:14 p.m. in the 100 block of Timberline Court.
  • A report of harassment came in at 3:08 p.m. from the 1100 block of River Rock Lane.
  • Someone vandalized property at 11 p.m. in the 10000 block of Crow Canyon Road.

Monday, Jan. 2

  • The brandishing of an unspecified weapon took place at 12:28 a.m. in the 1500 block of Harlan Drive.

Tuesday, Jan. 3

  • Someone in the 1000 block of Berenger Drive reported lost property at 8:18 a.m.
  • A petty theft report came in at 11 a.m. from the 500 block of San Ramon Valley Boulevard.

Wednesday, Jan. 4

  • Someone notified police at 9:54 a.m. of an identity theft in the 100 block of Mackenzie Place.
  • Reports of drug violations came it at 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. from the area around the 500 block of Danville Boulevard.
  • At 3:35 p.m., police received reports of fraudulent documents from the 700 block of Tunbridge Road.

  • Police were called at 12:53 p.m. to handle a complaint of a court order violation in the 900 block of Blemer Road.
  • A petty theft occurred at 1:14 p.m. in the 3100 block of Fostoria Way.

Friday, Jan. 6

  • Police took someone into custody during a traffic stop at 2:18 a.m. in the 100 block of Hartz Avenue.
  • A residential burglary was reported at 11:29 a.m. in the 500 block of El Pintado Road.
  • Police received a report of a "suspicious circumstance" in the 500 block of La Gonda Way.
  • Someone called police at 1:08 p.m. about a grand theft in the 100 block of Railroad Avenue.
  • An "unwanted guest" in the 500 block of El Pintado Road prompted a call to police at 3:04 p.m.
  • Police received a report of an identity theft in the 100 block of Elizabeth Lane at 3:34 p.m.
  • A petty theft took place at 6:32 p.m. in the 3100 block of Stone Valley Road.
  • Police at 10:39 p.m. made an arrest in a fight at San Ramon Valley Boulevard and Sonora Avenue.
  • Someone was arrested at 11:33 p.m. for driving under the influence at San Ramon Valley Boulevard and Sycamore Valley Road.

Saturday, Jan. 7

  • A vandalism was reported at 10:14 a.m. in te 500 block of Danville Boulevard.
  • Someone at 3:38 p.m. called from the 800 block of El Pintado Road to report the forgery of documents.
