Police Arrest Condo Robber

Danville Police arrested Jarrad Kalajian, Wednesday, in connection with a robbery on San Ramon Valley Boulevard.

A condo resident helped Danville police catch someone who allegedly stole a PlayStation 3 and a notebook computer Wednesday.

Police Chief Steve Simpkins said police received a call around 1:15 p.m. that a suspicious man was on a dirt pathway at the complex on the 1100 block of San Ramon Valley Boulevard. 

Neighbors said a man matching the description of the suspect then ran into the nearby . Nursery staff told police a suspicious man came into the store asking for a ride. Police said the suspect then ran into an open field where officers found a Nikon camera near an abandoned bicycle.

Police said a PlayStation 3 and notebook computer were found in the suspect's backpack, items they said were stolen from a condo on San Ramon Valley Boulevard.

Jarrad Kalajian, 32, of Oakland, was arrested and booked at the Martinez Detention Facility on suspicion of residential burglary, possession of stolen property and possession of burglary tools.
