Paige Meyer Named New San Ramon Valley Fire Chief

Paige Meyer has been a firefighter for over 20 years and is currently the Vallejo fire chief.

The San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District Board of Directors named Paige Meyer the new fire chief for the district at its board meeting Wednesday.

Meyer is the fire chief for the City of Vallejo and will transition to the San Ramon Valley job on March 18. He takes over Richard Price, who retired in December.

Meyer has over 20 years of fire experience and has spent the last 15 with the Vallejo Fire Department. He worked his way up through the Vallejo department, going from being a firefighter, to captain, to battalion chief and finally the fire chief.
