A police officer was shot in Dublin Tuesday afternoon in the area Dougherty Road and Dublin Boulevard, according to JD Nelson of the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office.
Nelson said the officer was not with Dublin Police Services, but did not name the outside police agency. Nelson did not provide details about the shooting, or the officer's condition.
The officer was transported to a local hospital.Patch will provide more information as it becomes available.
