The Monte Vista High football community has rallied together to organize a fundraiser for Officer Kenyon Youngstrom at tonight's home football game against Amador Valley.

"I felt compelled to do something," said Katherine Thomas, whose son is on the football team and organized the fundraiser. "It happened almost literally on our doorstep and, like him, I also have four kids and family members that are officers."
