I have been on my way from Crow Canyon Road to work at Broadway Plaza since 920am this morning. It's now 1045am. I am just past El Portal in Alamo on San Ramon Valley Blvd. My GPS says I have another 45 minutes to go for my last 5 miles.

My office is on South Main Street in WC. I veered to Mt. Diablo at the last minute when I saw the back up and then it took me 20 minutes to get from Locust/Mt. Diablo to Main/Broadway Plaza. I stopped for coffee at La Boulonge, worked for an hour there and realizing it wasn't getting any better, gave up and went home. Took me 15 minutes to get back out to the freeway. What a cluster....

It took me about the same amount of time to get from Newell and South Broadway to Las Lomas High School this morning. My kid picked the wrong day to forget his lunch money.
