Four Danville Teens Arrested After Attempted Drug Deal, Robbery, Behind Taco Bell

Three Danville teens were booked at the Martinez jail and a fourth was issued a juvenile citation because he is under age.

Three Danville teens have been arrested in connection with the robbery of another Danville teen as he tried to purchase marijuana behind the Taco Bell on Diablo Road, police said.

Joseph Cefalu, 19, Brandin Cumro, 19, Cameron Talebi, 18, and a 17-year-old whose name was not released, robbed the other youth at 3:55 p.m. Saturday, said Investigations Sgt. Allan Shields.

Four teens drove behind Taco Bell where they met the  15-year-old, and, using violent threats, forced the teen to give them his money, cell phone and backpack, police said.

The Contra Costa Sherriff's Department, with the assistance of the Danville Police Department, apprehended the four suspects in Alamo on Danville Boulevard south of Stone Valley Road.

Cefalu, Cumro and Talebi were booked in the Contra Costa County Jail in Martinez. The 17-year-old was issued a juvenile citation and released to his parents.
