Felony Hit-and-Run Suspect Due in Court Tuesday for Arraignment
Spencer Freeman Smith is expected to be charged with vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence and felony hit-and-run on Tuesday.

Spencer Freeman Smith, 32, an employment lawyer in San Francisco, is set to be arraigned at the in Pleasanton on charges of vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence and felony hit-and-run. The hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m.
Smith remains free on $60,000 bail, according to the Alameda County Sheriff's Department.

According to a Superior Court bail schedule, standard bail on each of the two charges Smith was arrested on is $50,000 per charge.
While serving a search warrant at Smith's San Ramon home Thursday night, Dublin police found a black with damage to the windshield and front end. The car was missing the same parts that were found at the scene of the accident, according to officers.

The victim, Bo Hu, 57, was believed to have been visiting Dublin from China when he was while riding or walking his bicycle on Dougherty Road at Fall Creek Road around 11:30 p.m.
