Danville Police Foil Early Morning Burglary
Officers were called to a home on the 200 block of Paraiso Drive early Wednesday, leading to a police chase as well as a CHP helicopter and K-9 unit search.
A burglary was prevented on the 200 block of Paraiso Drive early Wednesday morning, when residents alerted police of a suspicious person in their garage.
The police were called about 1 a.m. when the residents saw a white man in his mid-30s with a thin build in their detached garage, said Danville Police Lt. Jeff Moule.
When police arrived the man ran away without stealing any property. Officers then chased after him, said Moule.
A CHP helicopter and K-9 team also helped with the early morning search.
The man was not found and Moule says the department is currently investigating the case.
