Alamo Woman Dies After Fight With Neighbor

A 59-year-old Alamo woman is dead after she got in a dispute with a neighbor. More information about the incident is expected to be released tonight.

An Alamo woman is dead after a dispute with a neighbor on Monday, the Contra Costa Times reports.

A 59-year-old woman was critically injured on the 3000 block of Stonegate Drive at about 11 a.m. Monday. She was taken to John Muir Medical Center where she died Tuesday evening.

The San Francisco Chronicle reports that Doris Penico is the woman who died.

Contra Costa County Sheriff's spokesperson Jimmy Lee told the Times that the two families involved in the fight had been in a long civil dispute.

The case is currently under investigation.
