Danville Resident Dismayed With Extra Lane on I-680

The extra lane they created seems to have no effect come rush hour. Commuters are still clogging side streets as a short cut. The amount of traffic on Camino Ramon and SRVB are still being used as a way to bypass on I-680 when it's backed up.

Also, I thought they were going to replace the trees they cut down along Camino Ramon ... All I see is dirt and weeds.

Agreed.. its literally expanded the congestion to the exit lanes. Also, whats up with leaving just the raw concrete instead of finishing paving with rubberized asphalt? Are we stuck in 1960? All other states and civilized nations top off with rubberized asphalt for longer lasting and quieter roads.. someone please tell me they are planning to still finish this road..

I live on ridgeland circle and the people bypassing 680 cause havoc for me coming from crow canyon. They need to figure this out.

What a cluster it was on our side streets yesterday, I headed to downtown Danville and the crush of cars to get to the end of town was not fun. I guess I will have to time my trips to down town based on 680 North bound traffic reports.
