4 Accidents in 3 Hours for Danville Police

The Danville Police had a blitz of accidents on one day, in a few hours.

The Danville Police had busy couple hours on May 9 when the officers responded to four automobiles accidents in just three hours.

The first accident happened at 1:25 p.m. at Green Valley Road and Valle Verde Court; the next at 3:25 where the Iron Horse Trail crosses San Ramon Valley Boulevard; the third just six minutes later at 3:51 at Camino Ramon and Sycamore Valley Road; and, finally, the fourth at 4:23 p.m. on the 3100 block of Stone Valley Road.

There were no major injuries reported in any of the collisions and none of them resulted in an arrest.

Danville Police Chief Steve Simpkins said during that time there were three beat cars out in the town, plus a sergeant.

The accidents showed no pattern. It just appeared to be a bad day to drive.
