The buzz: Patrons love the small plates, especially the cheeses, and give high marks for service. It has a generally quiet atmosphere, enhanced by the patio and outdoor fireplace. Live music Thursday nights from 6-10 p.m.

The buzz: Patrons make a tradition of Tower Grille’s happy hour — many have been going for years. The spot is best suited for those who enjoy no frills grill food, inexpensive drinks and a sports bar atmosphere. If you are a sports enthusiast, there are no fewer than 10 TVs to watch the games.
