Obituary: Alison Mari Kolb Bump

Alison Mari Kolb Bump, a resident of Danville, died in her sleep on Nov. 28. She was 42 years old. 

A graduate of Monte Vista High School, she ran track and played soccer. She also volunteered for the San Ramon Valley High track team. She is survived by her grandmother, her parents, her husband and their two children.

San Ramon Valley High women's track coach Tim Hunt recalled Alison's work at the school during the 2011 and 2012 seasons.

"She was a source of energy for the kids and for the coaches she worked with. She will be missed," said Tim Hunt, the high school women's track coach.

Alison is survived by her husband Larry Bump, daughter Maddie, son Joey, brother Brandon Kolb, parents Chuck & Mari Kolb; and grandmother Fannie Jo Campana. She has extended family (aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews & nieces) from Penn., Colo., Wash. and Calif.
