As we leave 2012 behind, it's by design a design team that is. We may look forward not just to a new year but a new interior, new exterior and landscape by designer space. What will make for an even nicer start of the year experience are my synergized show guests, the three top young designers from J. Hettinger Interiors, 200 Hartz Ave.,Danville CA, 94526.
Namely, Stephanie Yeraka, Naomie Wert and Paolo Monjes. This dynamic trio are filled with energy, insight, creativity and passion.
First, is Stephanie Yeraka, (ur-rock-a) a Walnut Creek resident and earned her Interior Design Degree from San Francisco State College. She developed her fervor for design at age 14 when she observed her dad build and design their own home. There she got hands on experience designing her own room, and learned how to work with contractors and trades people. She has graced the design industry for the past 2.5 years and works with commercial, residential, and remodels. Which includes furniture/fabric selection,window treatment design, funiture layout using AutoCAD, artwork, accessory selection and placement. Her remodel process is from the ground up construction! Second, is Naomie Wert, also a Walnut Creek resident raised in Chico CA, and holds a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Interior Design. Her passion is mostly in residential, and does some commercial. Her style is based on practicality, lifestyle the craving for luxury. She has been designing for the last five years.Her devotion for design transcended to giving back to the community as she helps a non-profit organization called "Special Spaces" where she designs rooms for children who suffer from terminal illness. Third, is Paolo Monjes, who resides in Oakland CA, born in Manila, Philippines and raised in Los Angeles. Paolo has a strong creative background in classical music performance. He received his Bachelors of Arts degree at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA. His innovative style is influenced by his love, fascination and appreciation for international cultures of the world. He learned the ropes of the design industry, which refined his knowledge in design aesthetics and giving superb service. You can bet that his service is superb, for he just did the interior of a private jet and his ardor has his client smiling while flying! During the interview all three individually and collectively expressed their love, passion and dedication to the industry and most of all their clients vision.What surprised me is discovering the wide array of design services J.Hettinger Interiors provides.
