Happy Chinese Lunar New Year of the Dragon

Celebratng the Chinese New Year of the Lunar Dragon.

Jan. 23 brought in the Chinese Lunar New Year of the Dragon. Each year is represented by one of the 12 Zodiac signs: Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog and Pig. Each animal cycle repeats once every 12 years. Lunar years occur every 60 years making this Dragon year most auspicious.

With the Dragon revered as the luckiest year there’s a spike in the numbers of marriages, births, and business ventures. As people plan in advance to take advantage of the good luck the Dragon purports to give. Famous Dragons include martial artist Bruce Lee and John Lennon.

Plus, we have a stamp of approval with United States Forever Dragon Stamp to commemorate this auspicious event. The way I see it, why don’t we go from a dragging economy to a Dragon economy! So what the heck, let’s celebrate good luck and good fortune. Embrace the cultural enrichment and enter the Chinese New Year of The Dragon with the belief that it will bring good luck, good fortune and success to all!
