My favorite part of the Proclamation reads "Resolved that the Danville Town Council does hereby proclaim July 28th & 29th, as RELAY FOR LIFE days throughout Danville, and urges all citizens to recognize & participate in this cancer awareness campaign held in our community"
Editor's note: The Relay for Life kicks off July 28 at San Ramon Valley High School. It's a volunteer-driven fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. This year's event in Danville takes place on July 28 at . Residents can donate to the Danville team, join a team, or start their own team to help raise funds for many aspects surrounding cancer including cancer research, cancer prevention and cancer awareness.
