If you headed north on Interstate 680 this morning, it probably wasn't a pleasant experience.
An ice cream truck overturned just north of Rudgear Road at about 7:15 a.m., blocking three lanes of traffic.
About an hour later, there was another accident near the Crow Canyon exit in San Ramon.
And not just today, but recently there have been a number of accidents on Interstate 680.
In August, a fatal accident on an I-680 on-ramp in Pleasanton claimed the life of a 22-year-old.
About a week earlier, two people died from a fatal accident in San Ramon.
