What is the Most Popular Halloween Candy for Tri-Valley Residents?

The age-old question: Candy Corn or Tootsie Rolls, which of these two classic confections is king?

Livermore Patch Facebook readers chimed in and agreed that Candy Corn rules their Halloween list. Out of 44 votes, 19 named the corn the best while 15 claimed Tootsie Rolls the better candy. Seven readers said neither was any good, some even adding a "Yuck."

Pleasanton Patch Facebook readers also agreed that Candy Corn is the better Halloween candy. Out of 12 votes, seven named the corn the best while only four said Tootsie Rolls were better.

Dublin Patch Facebook readers disagree with Pleasanton and Livermore, naming Tootsie Rolls the better candy. Out of 14 votes, six named the Tootsie Roll the winner, with Candy Corn close behind with five votes.

Danville Patch Facebook readers agreed with Pleasanton and Livermore readers and named Candy Corn the winner, with two votes, leaving a single vote for the Tootsie Roll.

San Ramon Patch Facebook readers agreed with Dublin readers and named Tootsie Rolls the winner, with four votes. Candy Corn received three votes.
