Danville Teen to Appear on 'American Idol'

One of Danville's own will appear on American Idol on Thursday, Jan. 16.

Rachel Rolleri, 17, a student at Monte Vista High plays acoustic guitar while singing 'Stay' by Sugar Land. The episode will appear on the second part of a two-night premiere that begins Wednesday, Jan. 15.

Judges Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr. certainly seemed impressed with the singer's chops.  

American Idol XIII debuts with a two-night, four-hour premiere Wednesday, Jan. 15 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) and Thursday, Jan. 16 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

She's really good and so calm and confident! I hope she gets chosen! The judges seemed impressed.
