5 Year Anniversary For Capt. Sully's 'Miracle on the Hudson'

Today marks the five-year anniversary for the Danville pilot who safely landed a disabled U.S. Airways jet in the Hudson River in 2009, after a flock of birds disabled the plane's engines.

Chesley Sullenberger saved the lives of all 155 people on board US Airways Flight 1549 on Jan, 15, 2009 after landing the plane on the water.

Since the landing, the international hero and Texas native was named one of Time magazine's 100 Most Influential People and has also published two books.
