The Gretta Foundation, a Bay Area based organization, is the only nonprofit organization solely dedicated to providing in-country nursing scholarships to impoverished residents of developing countries. The foundation’s model is aimed at improving the severely depleted healthcare workforce around the world, while helping to decrease the exodus of nurses from disease-burdened nations.
