Opening Reception for twenty four by twenty four

The Town of Danville
presents twenty four by twenty four during
the upcoming art exhibition which features contemporary abstract paintings by Blackburn
and Friends. This exhibit, held at the Village Theatre Art Gallery, runs from January
10 through February 22. Participating artists worked on twenty four inch square
canvases, creating compositions within these parameters that utilized a vast
array of abstract language.


Blackburn and Friends
are a collective of San Francisco Bay Area abstract painters. This diverse
group, from a vast array of professions and corners of the world, were drawn
together by a shared interest to explore and express life experiences through
