Golf Tournament Honoring Fallen Oakland Police Officer

Who would
think that playing golf could help keep the wonderful memory of a fallen hero
alive and help charity?  It’s true!  The PSR West Coast Builder’s 3rd Annual Golf
Tournament and Ride is geared up for July 25th and will honor fallen
Oakland Police Officer John Hege.  The
tournament continues to raise funds for California Transplant Center and OPEN
(Oakland Police Emergency Net).  Since
its inception in 2012, the PSR Golf Tournament has raised $20,000 and all
proceeds are donated to both organizations.

Officer Hege
lost his life in the line of duty in March of 2009. Although he succumbed to
his injuries, his gift of helping others continued by donating much needed
organs through the California Transplant Center.  Because of this selfless act, the lives of four
adult males in the State of California were saved.

derived entirely from direct donations and fundraising events!
