Water Line Break Delays Traffic on San Ramon Valley Boulevard

One lane is closed while crews make repairs.

By Bay City News Service
Motorists will experience delays along a thoroughfare in
Danville Wednesday after a water line ruptured in the area this afternoon, town
officials said.
The rupture was reported on a subdivision construction site around
3 p.m., prompting the closure of part of San Ramon Valley Boulevard south of
Sycamore Valley Road in Danville, said Michael Stella, a senior civil
engineer for the town of Danville.
One lane near the construction site is closed, with crews
directing traffic.
East Bay Municipal Utility District crews are working to repair
the damaged line, Stella said.
Town officials said repairs should be completed and all lanes
reopened by 7 p.m. For live local traffic updates, visit our traffic map at danville.patch.com/commute.
