Town Manager Joe Calabrigo Addresses Concerns With General Plan Update

Town Manager tackled a number of subjects on the controversial 2030 General Plan Update.

He wrote: "...The vision set out in the Draft 2030 Plan is one of upholding Danville's small town character and preserving the unique qualities that make this an exceptional place."

Walnut Creek Man Sentenced for Fatal Danville Collision

The 33-year-old man who in 2011 crashed his Toyota 4-Runner into a Dodge Durango, killing a mother and daughter inside, in Danville was sentenced to two years in prison on Wednesday, according to the Contra Costa Times.

John Peder Harris, 33, of Walnut Creek went through a red light on Brookside Drive and Sycamore Valley Road on Nov. 7, 2011. He was going 62 mph in a 45 zone when he broadsided the vehicle driven by Elham Pirdavari, 51, and Mahin Dowlati, 72, killing them.
