Storm Sweeps Through the Tri-Valley

Strong wind and heavy rain arrive in the Bay Area.

A storm sweeping through the Bay Area on Tuesday night, including the Tri-Valley, is bringing heavy rain, wind and high surf, the National Weather Service said.

A wind advisory was issued until about 1 a.m. Wednesday due to a strong cold front sliding southeast across the Bay Area.

The storm is bringing southeast winds of 35 to 45 mph and wind gusts of up to 50 mph are possible.
