Some Downtown Danville Streets Closed Friday Afternoon

Parts of Railroad Avenue, Hartz Avenue and San Ramon Valley Boulevard will be closed Friday for San Ramon Valley High Homecoming Parade.

Motorists coming to downtown Danville on Friday afternoon are being advised to prepare for possible delays as some streets will be temporarily closed during the Oct. 12 San Ramon Valley High School Homecoming Parade.

Parts of Railroad Avenue, Hartz Avenue and San Ramon Valley Boulevard will be closed while the parade progresses from the high school through the downtown and back (see attached map).

Closures are expected to last from 2:35 p.m. to 3:10 p.m.

Motorists are asked to exercise caution when driving downtown during this time as the parade will be passing through and there will be many pedestrians viewing the event as well.
