Update: Power Restored To Almost All Customers

A downed power line knocked out electricity this evening to 5,600 customers in Danville and Alamo

Power has been restored to all but 194 customers following an outage tonight in the Danville and Alamo areas, according to Pacific Gas & Electric.

The outage occurred around 5:45 p.m., and affected around 5,600 customers, a spokeswoman said.

There is no estimate as to when power will be restored to remaining customers.

A power line came down in the area of San Ramon Valley road north of Fountain Springs Circle due to a failed connector, the spokeswoman said.
