UPDATE: Power Nearly Restored to Danville, Alamo; 9 Still Out

The power outage started around 10:10 a.m. affecting 2,643. As of 2 p.m., 9 customers are still without power.

Nine are still without power, according to PG&E spokesperson Tamar Sarkissian.

That number has dwindled from 2,643, when a power outage hit Danville and Alamo around 10:10 a.m. The outage ran along Danville Boulevard and Iron Horse Trail from Livorna to Hartford. The nine remain customers are only in Alamo.

Sarkissian said the cause was a faulty underground transformer and crews have been working to replace it. She had no estimate to when the nine would get their power back.
