The San Ramon Valley High Wolves were defeated by the De La Salle Spartans in a NCS semifinal basketball game Wednesday night. De La Salle led by as many as 18 in the second half, but SRV cut the deficit to four points late before the Spartans pulled away. .

The San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District received a national accreditation for using a 911 dispatch system that tells people how to respond to an emergency while they wait for paramedics. .

Danville Mayor Karen Stepper delivered her State of the Town address at Crow Canyon Country Club Thursday. Stepper gave a slide presentation covering everything from her recent trip to the in Washington, D.C., economic development and public safety in town, parks, capital projects and the 2030 General Plan. .

Danville's Town Council and Planning Commission met jointly Tuesday night, to discuss affordable housing sites as part of the 2030 General Plan. The list of Danville's potential affordable housing development sites got a little shorter after the meeting, causing relief and disappointment among about 50 residents who attended the meeting. .
