Here's a look at some of the news that happened in Danville the past week

The spoiled a lot of plans for events that usually are blessed with sunshine in early June. Farmers' markets, community festivals and road races were among them. Also disrupted was the playoff games in the San Ramon Valley Little League.

The FBI and the U.S. Attorney's Office announced they are taking over part of the investigation of an that could now involve out-of-state drug trafficking. Three former Contra Costa law enforcement officers and a private investigator, charged with selling drugs, conspiracy, illegal weapons possession and setting up people for DUI arrests, may soon face federal charges.

Thousands of peopleorganized early this past week by the parents of Alliy Bayliss. Authorities say the Danville teenager committed suicide by jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge. The service was at Community Presbyterian Church and was attended by family, friends and fellow students from San Ramon Valley High School.
