Danville's Costco was rammed with a truck and an ATM was stolen last Sunday. Police said it is believed that two people used a stolen truck to ram the main entrance roll-up door at Costco on Fostoria Way. Police said they then used the truck to lift an ATM machine in the store from its foundation. .
We gave you an update about Danville entrepreneur, Jason Lucash, who pitched a product from his company OrigAudio on ABC's "The Shark Tank." Lucash successfully emerged intact from the ABC hit reality TV show, with a deal last Friday night, but not before the business Sharks took a few chunks out of each other. .

Teachers from Danville and across the Tri-Valley, gathered at Stoneridge Mall in Pleasanton to protest education cuts. They called it the “Grade-In,” a reference to a “sit-in” and graded papers and other schoolwork to show the work they do outside of the classroom. .
The San Ramon Valley Unified School District approved a Chinese Dual Immersion Program. Students starting kindergarten at Quail Run elementary school in San Ramon, may have a chance to participate in the program next school year. .

A former St. Isidore employee pleaded not guilty in an embezzlement case at the church. Kathleen Dake, 58, of Blackhawk, will appear in court again June 23 to set a preliminary hearing date. Dake faces five counts of felony embezzlement and is charged along with two others in the case. Read the rest of the story.
A former Concord private investigator arrested on drug charges claims his co-defendant, former Contra Costa County Drug Task Force Commander Norman Wielsch, was part of a prostitution operation. Wielsch's attorney denies the claims. .
