Chevron Station on Hartz Sells $300K Winner in Mega Millions Draw

Better check your numbers.

A lottery player who bought a MEGA Millions ticket this week in Danville is $312,766 richer after matching five of six numbers in Friday night's draw, state lotto officials said today.

The ticket was sold at a Chevron gas station at 145 Hartz Avenue.

One other ticket matching five of six numbers was sold in Los Angeles, lotto officials said.

Both tickets matched the numbers 5, 47, 2, 46 and 45 and were missing only the MEGA number of 37.

Because no ticket hit Friday's jackpot, Tuesday's MEGA Millions pot will be worth $102 million.

Winners have 180 days from the date of the draw to claim their prizes.

why does the header say "Danville man wins..." who won?

It wasn't a Danville man. It was sold from a Danville location. Headline reads: "Chevron Station on Hartz Sells $300K Winner in Mega Millions Draw".

don't know what to refer to it as. On my AOL screen under local news is where it still reads "Danville Man....", that's what I clicked on to get here.

JM: We're not sure who won the pot. But it was sold at the Chevron Station on Hartz.
