Community Presbyterian Church To Host Women's Conference in March

Registration is now open for Community Presbyterian Church's 2011 Women's Conference, 'Living a Legacy in Christ' on Mar. 26, featuring keynote speaker Renee Swope. The conference is open to women of all faiths and denominations.

On Mar. 26 hundreds of local women are expected to gather at for a women’s conference—the first devoted to women at the local church in nearly seven years.

Michelle Nicholas, the Special Events Coordinator for Women’s Ministries at the church, says the conference, called ‘Living a Legacy in Christ,’ invites women of all faiths and denominations for a full day program. The program features nationally known guest keynote speaker, Renee Swope, of Proverbs 31 Ministries, as well as breakout sessions addressing topics and challenges relevant to women.

“We are so excited to offer this affordable and extraordinary local event to local women, and we hope that friends will attend together and be encouraged in their daily lives,” Nicholas says. “Renee Swope is such an accessible speaker, and the program and breakout sessions promise to inspire and equip women.”

Registration is now open for the conference that will be held Saturday, Mar. 26 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Community Presbyterian Church campus, located at 222 West El Pintado Road, in Danville.
