Pedestrian Injured After Hit By Vehicle on Danville Boulevard

A 52-year-old Alamo woman suffered non-life threatening injuries after a vehicle hit her while she was crossing the street on Danville Boulevard, according to California Highway Patrol Officer John Fransen. The incident happened at about 8 p.m. Wednesday, in front of the Alamo Women's Club.

Three people were displaced by a fire that destroyed a caretaker's apartment near Danville early this Wednesday morning, a fire battalion chief said. The one-alarm blaze was reported at 4:44 a.m. in the 6100 block of Alameda Diablo in the unincorporated community of Diablo.
