Video: Nothing Fancy, Just Haircuts at Frontier Barber Shop

Sometimes change is good and sometimes it's best to just keep things the same.

Frontier Barber Shop in Danville is an example of the latter, which has been a city staple since 1949.

Mike Gladson and Fred Barraco have seen Danville change a lot over the years, but their barber shop isn't one of them. As patrons know — once something goes on the wall, it stays on the wall.

But Mike and Fred aren't about fancy, they're just about cutting hair.

"We're not hear to impress you, we're here to cut hair," Fred said. "We're not trying to sell you products, we're not trying to do anything, we just want you to come in, get a nice haircut and feel good when you leave — that's it."
