Sprouts & Shutters: New Place To Eat Opens in Danville

Pau offers salads, soups, pasta and stew from its corner location downtown

It's tucked tightly into a corner downtown, but a new place to eat has opened in Danville.

Pau began serving customers three weeks ago from its small shop in the shopping center across the street from the Burger King.

The official address is 480 K San Ramon Valley Blvd., although it's easier find if you look for the intersection of Hartz Way and Hartz Avenue.

Pau offers soups, salads, pasta and stew. Owner Ted Fulmer prepares the meals from his kitchen in Pinole and carts them to Danville.

He hopes to offer ready-to-bake pizzas and other items in the coming weeks.

The place is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Fulmer has another eatery on the island of Hawaii, which he started several years ago. It is still open.

In Hawaiian, Pau means finished, all done, all good or satisfied.
