Sprouts & Shutters: 'Gotta Eatta Pita' Opens Mid-October
The new pita place is like the Mediterranean version of Chipotle, store owner Yaniv Benaroya says.

The Dog's new digs have been kept under wraps (literally--there's paper on the windows), but Gotta Eatta Pita is set to open sometime between Oct. 15 and 20th, the store owner said Tuesday.
The counter-service pita joint at 110 Hartz Ave. in Danville is the brain child of Yaniv Benaroya, 38, who started his own pita-making business when he was 18.
After years in the real estate business, Benaroya is serving his pitas with natural ingredients.
Guests can choose falafel or chicken shawarma in a pita or a bowl, with options of fresh tabbouleh, couscous and hummus.
Other Mediterranean goodies will be sold by weight, such as purple cabbage salad, couscous, pitas and falafel. For those who are looking to add a unique spiciness to their meals can add s'hug, a Yemenite hot sauce packed with coriander and hot peppers.
Local craft brews will be featured on draft, and outdoor seating will be available.
Pitas and bowls will have modest prices, starting at $6.95.
