A new burger joint is expected to move into Blackhawk Plaza as early as January 2014.
Blackhawk Burger has signed a lease at the plaza and will begin construction soon, said plaza manager Veronica Curley.
The restaurant will serve a wide assortment of quality burgers, fries, salads and sandwiches at affordable prices, Curley said.
The restaurant will move into the space formerly occupied by Methany's Family Restaurant, which was a '50s style diner that closed in September after serving in the community for 10 years.
