What does it mean for a business to claim a listing? Read on and find out!

As a reader of Danville Patch, you've almost certainly seen our directory of local businesses, which we call Patch Places.

We have more than 1,500 listings in our Patch Places directory that lists restaurants, auto care places, salons, doctor's offices, and nearly everything else you can think of.

Patch Places offers our readers descriptions, hours, accepted payment methods and other information for businesses around town. On top of that, customers can comment or write reviews.

So, this month, we want to highlight and high-five the 10 local businesses that made that extra click for that extra piece of the pie.
