TOMS, they're everywhere!
But how about a pair that is unique? And no one else in the world has it? You can get that on Saturday at the "Style Your Sole" event at Apricot Lane in the Blackhawk Plaza from 12-4 p.m.
The event will bring in four professional local artists to custom paint every pair of TOMS purchases at the Blackhawk boutique.
The event is free to the customers, other than purchasing the shoes.
And, as is TOMS' policy, every pair of TOMS shoes purchase, the company will give a pair of shoes back to a child in need.
"We pride ourselves in finding really unique pieces that also have a message behind them," Apricot Lane owner Jen Ackerman said. "Giving the meaning of a t-shirt, a bracelet or a brand and what it stands for to our clientele really allows them to embrace the messages these brands represent."
Apricot Lane is not yet a year old. It features celebrity inspired looks with trend setting styles and accessories.
