Patch sent the following questions to the restaurants participating in Walnut Creek Restaurant Week 2013 so we could learn more about the talented chefs and owners behind those kitchen doors. Today, meet Peter Chastain, Chef/Owner of Prima Ristorante, founded in 1977.

If you could get a reservation at any East Bay restaurant with a moment's notice, which one would it be? Ippuku, Berkeley

What is your favorite junk food?  Japanese Senbei (rice crackers)

If you had to give up coffee or wine, which would it be? Coffee, duh. 

What would you eat for your last meal? Crudo of Tai Snapper, Yellow Tail & Ahi Tunaw/Shaved Onion, Lemon, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Hot Chile & Mint;
Cappelletti Filled With Ricotta In Butter & Black Truffle Sauce;
Grilled Veal Chop with Slow Cooked Kale & Cipolline Onions; and
Pistachio Gelato.
