Methany's Closes at Blackhawk

The Blackhawk diner closed its doors last week after over 10 years in the area.

Methany's family restaurant and burger joint closed their doors last week in Blackhawk Plaza.

The '50s style diner with a checkerboard floor and booths closed after the owner retired and relocated to his family in South California, plaza manager Veronica Curley said.

The plaza plans to have another "funky" restaurant move in to the empty space, Curley added.

Are you sad to see Methany's go? What kind of restaurant would you like to see in Blackhawk?
