Marketing Seminar to Assist Local Businesses

The Town of Danville will hold a marketing seminar Monday, Sept. 10 to examine area marketing efforts.

From the Town of Danville:

Local retailers are invited to attend an upcoming seminar on Monday that looks at effective marketing strategies.

Marketing expert Colleen Edwards will share current marketing efforts in the area and her “Danville Dozen” — a group of retailers and restaurants whose services and marketing merits a closer look.

Some topics to be covered include: the importance of branding; using the social environment to create customer loyalty; how service businesses can use online marketing.

The session is scheduled for 7:45 a.m. to 9 a.m. (with breakfast and networking at 7:20 a.m.) Monday, Sept. 10 at the , 400 Hartz Ave.

My Junior at SRVHS is in the guinea pig class for the new curriculum. The new curriculum started with AP Biology this year and it has been a disappointment. Parents, including myself, really need to educate ourselves on this. I thought this was a State program not a Fed program. Great...
