Barbells for Boobs in Danville Raises Over 12k

Raising $12,127 for 'Mammograms in Action,' the Crossfit Gym in Danville raised the bar this weekend to provide breast cancer detection services for women who don't qualify for such assistance.

The gym raised enough money to earn them the 10th place slot for the most amount raised out of 829 Crossfit gyms participating nationwide.

'Barbells for Boobs,' a fun competitive work-out event, raised money for 'Mammograms in Action,' a grant program that provides funding to breast centers and breast health care providers.

There were 53 participants in the fundraiser, which ended Sunday with a fun competitive work-out series.
