Why Go: Need a good book to take on your summer vacation? Head to San Ramon's used book sale this weekend and get great deals for  summertime reading for your whole family. Children's books cost just 50 cents each.

Why Go: Bring your picnic dinners and blankets to Central Park, where you can kick back and relax or dance in the grass as the band Divas of the Decades plays music made popular by such female vocalists as Joan Jett, Madonna, Linda Ronstadt, Blondie and more.
